After receiving a degree in Computer Science and working
in the daily workforce Jill started persuing a degree in Music. Jill played
clarinet at the start of her musical journey at the early age of 9years
old. Jill then was so facinated with drums she began playing drums in the
drum corp which later lead to playing in the school bands. From there,
Jill has played in several ensembles of Jazz, Rock, Blues, Latin and has
16 years of Musical Production experience with the Orchestra for Theatre.Jill
has over 15 years of experience teaching Percussion. Jill currently performs
with "The Blackburn Band Trio" with Jill on drums, Marty Willis on bass
and Dane Blackburn on Guitar. Jill also freelances with the AJC Jazz Group,
and performs with the CLC Big Band. Jill and co-interviewer Composer/Drummer
David Jennings continue to interview professional drummers from all over
the world for the Kenosha Drummers Website. . Jill's performance credits
are with: Joe Labarbera, Dick Oats, Chuck Findley, Larry McWilliams, Tom
Garling, Conrad Herwig, Mark Colby, Nick Drozdoff, Allen Vizzutti, John
